(^_^) I love Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly (^_^)

They just don't make movies like this anymore. Most movies now a days can't measure up to the movies back in the 50's and 60's (and even further back). These movies had emotion. Soul. Imagination. Now all they do is pump out more and more movies just to make money. People don't seem to put any... well any effort into movies they make. All they do now is turn popular comics/anime/cartoons/books into movies hoping that because said series was so popular their movies will be too. That or they just remake old, popular movies hoping that since the original was such a hit, their remake will rake in the dough. There's hardly any originality anymore.... It's sad really.

And they didn't let just anyone act so long as they had a pretty face. Actors and actresses needed to be GOOD. They had to know how to act, sing and dance. Most actors today couldn't do even 1/3 of that. Most actors today have no real soul. They don't put themselves completely into a role like actors used to. Obviously that doesn't apply to all of them. I personally love Gary Oldman, Johnny Depp and performers of their quality. But in all honesty, most actors and actresses today and hollow. Just another pretty face. Well the popular ones mostly, like that horrible "actress" Megan Fox. Even though she can't act for shit, people put her in movies just because they think she's pretty. Which, in my opinion, she's not. I could name dozens of girls much prettier then her. Anyway, I digress... well whatever. My complaining won't get anyone anywhere.
